RENTAL PROGRAM CASE STUDY
Who:
In October 2006, The Florida Times-Union launched a new publication, the "Apartment Paper Monthly," as a stand-alone rentals guide. The Classified Concepts Rental Locator Map Program is the focal point of this new product both in print and online. By offering a more robust and targeted product, they were able to mend relationships with advertisers who had been dissatisfied with a previous rentals offering.
Results:
The Times-Union offers the print and online map and directory as a package-buy to their rental advertisers. They currently average 30-35 listings per week. At current volume levels, they will generate $312,000 new annual revenue from the program.
The Times-Union considers the Rental Locator Program from Classified Concepts to be an integral part of their long-term growth strategy, helping them build and maintain the relationship with their valued commercial rental advertising clients.
"We are very happy with the program overall. It has increased our rentals revenue. The production process and all of the technical aspects have been a breeze. The maps are always perfect; the turnaround time is quick. Classified Concepts is wonderful to work with. We have plans to expand to other programs as well."
